Comprehensive Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer from Zanzibar to Mikumi – Afternoon wildlife excursion

On the first day  of 2 days  Mikumi wildlife safari from Zanzibar, you will be collected from the hotel or airport and transported to the ferry for a rapid boat ride to Dar es Salaam. In Dar es Salaam, you will board a luxury transfer vehicle that will transport you to Mikumi National Park, with an expected travel time of 5 hours and 30 minutes. While en route to Mikumi, pause in Morogoro town for lunch before proceeding to Mikumi National Park. Upon arrival at the park, you will go on an afternoon game drive until dark. In the evening, you will experience a sunset in an open safari Jeep before proceeding to your lodging. Evening meal and accommodation for the night.

Day 2: Morning Safari and Zanzibar

Embark on an early morning wildlife drive in Mikumi to observe predators prior to their retreat to concealment, followed by a return to your cottage for a late breakfast at 10:00 am. Post-breakfast, vacate the lodge and proceed to Dar es Salaam.

Upon arriving in Dar es Salaam, you will be transferred to the reserved ferry to Zanzibar, the airport for your return flight, or the hotel for your subsequent adventure. Conclusion of the 2 days  Mikumi wildlife safari from Zanzibar.
