Day 1: Transfer from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park, approximately a 4 to 5-hour journey.

Our skilled driver-guide will collect you early in the morning from Dar. Your travel to Mikumi National Park will commence with a brief breakfast stop in Morogoro before proceeding to Mikumi. You will be astonished by the breathtaking vistas of Uluguru Mountain and its picturesque environs. Arrive to the park for an afternoon safari until dusk. Enjoy a delectable lunch at your reserved lodge before embarking on an afternoon game drive. You will have the opportunity to observe wild species including lions, leopards, elephants, and hyenas, among others.

Should time permit, you may pursue a cultural tour to the Maasai village at at your leisure. You will end the day with a tranquil evening, a delectable meal, and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Mikumi National Park / Departure to Dar es Salaam

Following breakfast, you will commence the morning game drive to observe elephants, giraffes, lions, and hippos at the hippo pools. You will also encounter warthogs, buffaloes, and elands. The park boasts a remarkable concentration of animals, including African hunting dogs, sable antelopes, and wildebeest, which are seldom observed in other parks. The serene foothills and expansive miombo woodland savanna in the southern region of the park merit a visit. Subsequently, you will attend a Maasai village tour following your game drive, provided you did not partake in it the previous day. Subsequently, the guide will transport you back to Dar following your lunch. Upon arrival, you will be deposited at your hotel or at a location of your preference.
