The mountain gorillas in Uganda have a global population of merely 800 individuals. The gorillas we are allowed to visit are part of one of ten family groups that have been habituated for gorilla trekking. For a duration of up to five years, these groups have experienced a meticulous process that has incrementally enabled them to tolerate human presence for a limited daily interval, permitting a select few visitors to engage with them in their natural habitat.

The gorillas are entirely untamed and are wholly wild creatures. Experienced guides will join us during our tracking and assist in locating the group’s position. The duration required to locate the gorillas might fluctuate significantly, ranging from one to seven hours.
