Average Cost of a 3-Day Safari to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda

The typical expense for a 3-day safari to Murchison Falls National Park varies between $500 and $800 per individual for budget to mid-range alternatives, based on a group of 2–4 people sharing lodging. Solo travelers encounter elevated rates, generally ranging from $1,100 to $1,400. The fees typically encompass accommodation, park entry, game drives, boat excursions, transportation, a guide, and the majority of meals, while excluding beverages, gratuities, visas, and extra activities such as chimpanzee or rhino tracking. The principal attraction of this safari is the opportunity to witness the formidable Murchison Falls, after which the park is called, located on the River Nile, the longest river in the world. The waterfalls, a significant milestone of the river, present a spectacle as substantial volumes of water are forced through a narrow gorge approximately 7 meters wide before cascading over a 43-meter cliff, producing a deafening roar as the waters plunge into a pool below, creating an ascending spray. You will get the opportunity to visit the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track rhinos.
