The entrance fees for Pian Upe Wildlife Reserve are separate from package activities such as bird watching and nature walks. A day’s entrance ticket is valid for twenty-four hours from the time of entry, and any additional time spent in the park beyond this period will incur a charge for an extra day. All visitors must produce a valid identity card to verify residency, Children aged 5 to 15 years, while those under 5 years are excluded.
Pian upe wildlife reserve entry fees
Adults
Foreign non-residents are charged 35 USD per individual, foreign residents 25 USD per individual, and East African citizens 15,000 UGX per individual.
Minors
Foreign non-residents incur a fee of 5 USD per kid, foreign residents are taxed 5 USD per child, and East African citizens pay 2,500 UGX per child.
Pupils and students in Uganda are taxed 1,500 UGX each.
Yearly park entry permits
The annual entrance pass is exclusively available to foreign residents in Uganda and East African citizens; vehicle entry fees are charged separately. Foreign residents necessitate employment permits valid for one year to be eligible for an annual pass.
Person
Foreign residents incur a fee of 350 USD, while East African natives are charged 350,000 UGX.
Couple
A foreign resident pair is taxed 600 USD and 500,000 UGX for East African nationals.
Family with a maximum of four offspring
Foreign resident families are charged 800 USD and 600,000 UGX for East African citizens.
Annual corporate pass for ten individuals
Foreign non-residents are charged 1,500 USD, whereas East African citizens are taxed 2,500,000 UGX.
A safari guide incurs an annual park entrance fee of 200,000 UGX, a taxi driver pays 150,000 UGX for the same pass, but a tour company driver is exempt from the fee.
Car access charges
Vehicle entrance costs are assessed on a per 24-hour basis, with the exception of concessionaire tourist cars, which incur a single fee per journey within the park. Motorcycles, trailers, vehicles carrying flammable materials, cattle, produce, poles, timber, sand, and market products are prohibited in Pian Upe Wildlife Reserve, save for those conducting services within the reserve or with explicit authorization from the Executive Director.

Foreign resident saloon cars incur a fee of 40 USD per entry, whereas Uganda vehicles are charged 20,000 UGX.
Minibuses or omnibuses
Foreign resident minibuses incur a fee of 50 USD per entry, whereas Ugandan cars are charged 30,000 UGX.
Pickup trucks
Foreign resident pick-ups incur a fee of 50 USD each entry and 30,000 UGX for Ugandan automobiles.
Vehicles for tour companies and four-wheel drive
cars belonging to foreign resident tour companies incur a fee of 150 USD per entry, whereas Uganda cars are charged 30,000 UGX.
Overlanders
Foreign resident overlanders incur a fee of 150 USD per entry and 100,000 UGX for Ugandan automobiles.
Omnibuses and Trucks
Foreign resident busses incur a fee of 200 USD, whereas Ugandan cars are charged 200,000 UGX.
Ugandan people are charged 50,000 UGX for school buses and 20,000 UGX for delivery vehicles every admission.
