This 4 Days of Masai Mara and Lake Naivasha Safari  encompasses two national parks, providing distinct experiences. Your journey will commence with a tour of the Masai Mara National Reserve, renowned for its exceptional wildlife encounters, including the Big Five and various other species. The expedition will also include a visit to Lake Naivasha, a premier place for birdwatching and wildlife observation, complemented by breathtaking natural vistas.

4 Days of Masai Mara and Lake Naivasha Safari

Day 1 Arrival in Nairobi and Transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve

Our driver will collect you from the airport and transport you to the Masai Mara National Game Reserve. The journey traverses the expansive Great Rift Valley, with several stops at viewpoints for photography. You will arrive at your lodge during lunchtime, and meal will be provided.

In the afternoon, you will partake in a game drive across the expansive national reserve till sunset. You will observe the Big Five, many bird species, and subsequently return to the resort for dinner and relaxation.

Day 2: Comprehensive Game Drive in Masai  Mara

Following your breakfast, you will commence the day’s game drive at dawn to observe the sunrise. You will bring a packed lunch that will be provided on the game drive in the afternoon. Ideally, it will be served at the Mara River. You will visit the Maasai village on your return to the resort, according upon time availability.

You will return to your lodge or hotel, where dinner will be served, allowing you to recuperate for the following day.

Day 3: Transfer from Masai Mara To Lake Naivasha

Your driver will collect you in the early morning following your breakfast. You will depart from your resort or camp with a wildlife watching drive en route to Lake Naivasha. You will register at your lodge or hotel in Naivasha. Lunch will be provided.

In the afternoon, you will go on a boat excursion for avian observation, during which you will also observe hippos.

You will participate in a guided hike on Crescent Island. You will observe zebras, giraffes, impalas, common waterbucks, buffalo, and Grant’s gazelles.

 

Day 4 Explore Hells Gate National Park and Transfer to Nairobi

Following breakfast, our driver will collect you and transport you to Hell’s Gate National Park after you check out of your lodge or hotel.

Hell’s Gate National Park is compact and the sole national park in Kenya that can be traversed on foot or by bicycle. The resident species includes Giraffe, Zebra, Impala, Grant’s Gazelle, Warthog, and Buffalo. At the park, a guide will provide you with additional information regarding the gorge.

Following the gorge excursion, you will return to Nairobi with lunch provided throughout the journey.
