The Uganda Wildlife Authority Bandas and Campsite in Semuliki National Park are located at Bumaga, 2.5 km from Sempaya, the beginning place for exploring Semuliki Forest National Park, including the trek to the hot springs. These were established to offer advantageous pricing for budget-conscious travelers, particularly backpackers and students. The 5 Bandas can accommodate 21 individuals, while the campsite can host 12 individuals. Here, you can pay as little as 40,000 to 80,000 Ugandan shillings for a bed and breakfast arrangement.

Bumuga Campsite

Due to the limited housing amenities in Semuliki National Park, camping at Bumuga, situated around 3 kilometers from the Sempaya gate, is also an alternative. You may purchase meals or prepare your own; if you require utensils or other culinary items, these can be rented from the site administrators. Camping in the wilderness provides a unique experience, as it is not a common occurrence, whereas this site facilitates the accessibility of all activities.
