Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

A cordial reception at the airport by your safari driver-guide, who will subsequently transport you to your hotel in Arusha and provide an overview of the9 days Budget Tanzania Wildlife Safari. Depending on your arrival time, you will check in at your reserved hotel for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay at Baobab Tented Camp/Roika Tarangire Lodge/Mbali Mbali Tarangire River Camp.

Day 2: Transfer to Tarangire National Park – Afternoon Game Drive

Awake early to savor a morning cup of coffee or tea prior to our departure for Tarangire National Park. The journey from Arusha takes around four hours, including breaks for sightseeing along the way. Upon arriving at the lodge, check in for lunch. Subsequently, you will embark on an afternoon game drive before returning to our hotel for a relaxed evening, supper, and overnight stay.

Day 3: Entire day in Tarangire National Park

Following breakfast and picnic lunch preparation, we departed for Tarangire National Park to engage with the early risers within the park. You will enjoy a comprehensive day of wildlife observation, encountering species situated around the park, accompanied by your picnic lunch box. The park presents a diverse array of flora and fauna, ranging from the diminutive Dik-dik to the majestic elephants, the regal lions, buffaloes, and numerous more species. Following our extensive wildlife drives, you will return to the lodge for sunset leisure, dinner, and an overnight stay as previously mentioned.

Day 4: Transit to Serengeti National Park – evening Game drive safari

Following an early breakfast at your resort in Tarangire, you will proceed to Serengeti National Park, traversing the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The journey entails a four-hour drive, including a visit to the renowned Olduvai Gorge, a significant historical location in Tanzania where the remains of early humans were discovered by Dr. Leakey and Louis in the 1950s, complementing your game viewing experience. Upon exiting the museum, rejoin the main road to continue our journey to Serengeti National Park.

Upon exiting the gate, travel to the lodge to check in for refreshments and lunch. Following your meal at the lodge, you will embark on an evening game drive across the expansive plains, enjoying stunning views of nature, avifauna, fauna, and various reptiles. Return to our lodge for supper and overnight accommodations at the Serengeti Serena Lodge, Osinon Lodges and Camps, or Serengeti Heritage Lodge.

Day 5: Comprehensive Game Drive Experience in Serengeti National Park

Following a delectable breakfast provided at the resort, typically from 6:30 to 7:30 am, the driver-guide will collect our lunch boxes and place them in the vehicle as we go with our 9 days Budget Tanzania Wildlife Safari. The roof of our safari car will be opened at the beginning location as we commence animal observation from the lodge. We travel extensively in search of various species, including the distinctive tree-climbing lions, as well as leopards, cheetahs, serval cats, hippos, dik-diks, wildebeests, and others. We dedicate an entire day to the park, engaging in game drives with a lunch intermission at the tourist center, followed by an evening game drive to seek out what we overlooked in the morning. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight accommodations as previously mentioned.

Day 6: Hot Air Balloon – Full-Day Game Drive – Serengeti National Park

Awaken early to embark on a hot air balloon excursion. A driver will transport you to the launch site, where you will receive a briefing from the pilot prior to boarding. Experience the breathtaking views as you ascend into the cool morning breeze of the Serengeti. Balloon safaris can enhance your experience, particularly in the morning when the weather is temperate and the animals are more active in search of sustenance for the day.

Alternatively, we will embark on morning and afternoon game drives, exploring all the distant corners of the park to seek out what we overlooked the previous day. Evening meal and accommodation at the lodge

Day 7: Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

With the aspirations and experiences of previous days, we shall embark from Serengeti for the exhilarating task ahead. Upon exiting the gates of Serengeti, we will enter the Ngorongoro area, observing numerous Maasai individuals and abundant wildlife along the trip.

Upon arriving at the descending area, we will obtain a panoramic view of the crater, enjoy lunch, and then proceed to the exceptional viewing point. We will embark on a comprehensive game drive within the crater to observe a variety of wildlife, including hyenas, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, antelopes, elephants, rhinos, lions, and leopards, among others. Notable avian species include secretary birds, ostriches, open-billed storks, and kori bustards, among others. Depart and proceed to the lodge for a leisurely evening while awaiting supper at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge, Hhando Coffee Lodge, or Elileens Tree Lodge.

Day 8: Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park

Rise early for breakfast prior to our journey to Lake Manyara National Park, renowned for its tree-climbing lions, leopards, and other members of the Big Five. Lake Manyara National Park is a prominent park located within the Great Rift Valley, hence hosting an abundance of avian species. Depending on the season of your stay, we may either have an afternoon boat ride on the lake during the rainy season or partake in a canopy walk among the treetops. Return to our lodge for refreshments, dinner, and an overnight stay at Nysa Lodge, Elileens Tree Lodge, or Lake Manyara Serena Lodge.

Day 9: Departure
