Day 1: Tarangire National Park – Wildlife Safari
Our safari expedition starts today! You will be collected from the airport or your accommodation in Arusha and subsequently transported for two hours to Tarangire National Park. Arrive in Tarangire and partake in an exhilarating game drive within the park. Tarangire is renowned for its substantial elephant populations and profusion of ancient baobab trees, the largest trees on the continent. From the vehicle’s open roof, you will discover the enchanting Tarangire National Park, observing the seasonal marshes, savanna, and Tarangire River, which are home to a diverse array of wildlife species.
A diverse array of birds and wildlife will be spotted including giraffes, impalas, zebras, lions, leopards, elands, warthogs, and elephants, among others. As lunchtime approaches, you will proceed to your lodge where you will partake in meal and a brief respite. Following lunch, commence another game drive in the park to enhance animal observation opportunities. As the day concludes, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight accommodation.

Day 2: Transfer to Serengeti National Park – Afternoon Game Drive
Awaken and partake in breakfast at your accommodation. Subsequent to breakfast, proceed to Serengeti National Park. Experience this transfer along a lengthy and uneven route for approximately 4-5 hours, traversing the picturesque countryside and breathtaking views. Navigate the captivating wildlife drive across the crater highlands toward the expansive Serengeti plains. Arrive to Serengeti National Park in time for lunch and head to your reserved lodge. Arrive at the lodge and complete the check-in process.
Following a lavish lunch at the lodge, commence an afternoon excursion across the Serengeti plains for exceptional wildlife observation possibilities. Serengeti National Park is globally acclaimed for its diverse wildlife, which includes lions, leopards, rhinoceroses, buffalo, elephants, hyenas, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, hippopotamuses, crocodiles, gazelles, wildebeests, and other avian species. Delight in observing several wildlife species on your evening excursion in the Serengeti. As your day concludes, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight accommodation.
Day 3: Explore the Wide Savannah Plains of Serengeti
Today, you are going to explore the renowned Serengeti National Park. Commence your day promptly in the morning with a nutritious breakfast. After breakfast, leave your accommodation with a packed lunch and commence a game drive in the expansive Serengeti grasslands to seek various wildlife species. Your drive guide is very experienced and will ensure you have an exceptional experience during your visit. You will explore various wildlife areas to observe both the African Big Five and the remarkable wildebeest migration.
Take a lunch break during the journey and relish your picnic meal at a picturesque location in the park. Following lunch, commence another exhilarating game drive in the park for additional wildlife observation possibilities. Upon concluding your excursion, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight accommodation.
Day 4: Morning Safari Game Drive – Transfer to Ngorongoro
We will rise early morning (about 6:00 am) for a sunrise game drive to observe the animals during their peak activity. Subsequently, we will halt at a picnic area to partake in breakfast amidst the wilderness, followed by the continuation of the game drive before returning to the camp about noon for a cooked lunch. Subsequently, load the car, leave the camp, and proceed to Ngorongoro, where we will dine and spend the night at our reserved lodging.
Day 5: Morning Game Drive – Transfer to Arusha/Flight to Uganda
We shall have an early breakfast today and subsequently descend into the crater. The Ngorongoro Crater floor is a sanctuary for wildlife enthusiasts, celebrated for harboring the greatest lion population in Africa. The crater floor hosts a diverse array of wildlife, including buffalo, rhinoceroses, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, hippopotamuses, and several avian species.
Dedicate your day to traversing the crater floor for exceptional wildlife observation prospects. As lunchtime approaches, your driver-guide will transport you to a secure and picturesque location for your picnic meal. Post-lunch, ascend to the crater rim and vacate your lodging. Return to Arusha and proceed to the airport to check in for our nighttime flight to Uganda.
Day 6: Transfer to Impenetrable Bwindi Forest
Following your breakfast, your safari guide/driver will collect you to commence your expedition to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This extensive excursion through the picturesque countryside offers wonderful vistas and breathtaking landscapes for your enjoyment. Make a brief stop at the Uganda Equator for coffee and an opportunity to explore several craft stalls for souvenirs or gifts for friends and family. This is succeeded by an additional halt in Mbarara town for lunch. Proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable, where you will check into your reserved safari lodge for dinner and your overnight accommodation upon arrival.
Day 7: Gorilla Tracking – Encounter with Batwa Pygmy Culture
Following the briefing, you will embark on a foot trek into Bwindi Forest, entering a realm seemingly detached from time. The undergrowth flourishes with a variety of flora, fauna, and avifauna. It is a strenuous endeavor to navigate through dense vines and foliage while your heart races from exertion and expectation. It may take minutes or hours to encounter a gorilla family, but when you do, the experience transports you into a timeless moment.
You observe the young ones at play as the formidable adults groom themselves, maintaining a discreet yet vigilant watch over their human visitors. At this point, a sense of kinship emerges to bridge the divide that has developed between us and our primate ancestors over millennia. You descend, exhilarated and captivated in a scene that will be recounted for years to come. Return to the lodge to recuperate before your next arduous expedition with the Batwa, sometimes referred to as pygmies, who hail from the Ituri Forest in Congo.
Following a rejuvenating supper and a little respite at the lodge, engage with the Batwa for an enriching cultural encounter. The Batwa are a hunter-gatherer tribe that inhabited these woodlands alongside gorillas for many years until their displacement for conservation reasons. These residents possess extensive knowledge of the forest and its fauna. You will appreciate their cultural presentation and gain insight into their lifestyles. Upon completion of your trip, proceed back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight accommodation.
Day 8: Departure in Entebbe
Upon concluding breakfast at the lodge, proceed to check out and commence your return journey to Entebbe. Arrive in Entebbe and continue with a drop-off at your chosen location (Airport or Hotel in Entebbe).
